Genesis: 

The journey began in 2002 as Candace Carrell (Operations Manager at Studio 54 at the time, now managing sister venue, Tabu) invited me in to see what happens behind the curtains at the venue. The article was written for a newsletter and uncovered a typical night at Studio 54, including what to expect and some inside tips (available here). The next year, Mike Milner (Executive Director at Studio 54/Tabu/Teatro) invited me to get a sneak peak at their newest creation, Tabu, three weeks prior to opening. The article was picked up by several publications and was distributed to nearly 450,000 readers (available here). From there, management invited me to spend an entire week writing "Behind the Masks", a look at what goes on during the week of Halloween. That article received much accolade and prompted M Lifestyle Editor and MGM Mirage Media Executives to contact me about a story on the real estate market from an outsiders perspective. The result was "Beating the House Odds",  Investing Trends in Las Vegas Real Estate.

RelocateLV.com is born:

The research and information from the article, along with the interviews with many of the great people who make up the market prompted a need for a place to collaborate online. RelocateLV.com seemed inevitable, with over 7,000 relocating to Vegas monthly. Giving new Vegasites a perspective of not only a living place or property, but also a taste of the town and insiders look at the real culture, people and life in Las Vegas helped to assimilate them to their new home. This will be achieved through collaborations with some of the top names in Vegas information and resources, such as the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors, The Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, and the plethora of information churned out by the many publications of Greenspun Media. The point of RelocateLV.com is to be a ONE STOP ONLINE RESOURCE for those moving in.

Life is about a home, work/ employment, children, family, schools, leisure activities, entertainment, shopping, religious activities, friendships, a nice dinner and good cup of coffee and community.
